Environmental education projects hold a very relevant place in our school curriculum.
We have a responsibility to educate our children from an early age about the need to care for the environment. This is done through experiments and projects that develop self awareness in the child of their surroundings.
The children have been involved in planting seeds, developing and caring for their own kitchen garden.
Giving them this hands-on experience of improving their surroundings will in turn encourage them to take an interest and look after the world around them.
The school is built within a United Nations World Biosphere Reserve in respect of this we are directly involved in the protection of our important ecosystem.
